Kelly, I got lucky. The high school track has a chin up bar, tires, and of course the track! :) I also took a kettlebell, jump rope, and medicine ball. Soooooo many things to do out there. Its like a Crossfit setup. LOVE IT!

Nerd Girl: Yes, that is what I am missing...bleachers. There are NOOO bleachers in our town for me to use. Totally sucks.

I think I hurt myself just watching that - how awesome! Kelly's question answered mine - had no idea where one would acquire a bigass tire like that! haha

First of all - AMAZING workout girl!!!

Thanks for the comment about my race. I bought my bike on March 30th so I have not been at it long but yes, I started VERY slow! My first ride was 15.5 miles and it was a 13.6 avg mph!!! But I have just kept at it and slowly I am getting better!

I ride both flat and hills. The hardest rides are not true hills but gradual inclines that last several miles! Those BURN but are great for training! The biggest thing I did to improve my times where first, the time in the saddle, in other words, more time on the road....and the second thing was to get VERY familiar with my gears learning how they can work for me. I also got a bike computer so that I could see my cadence, that helps too.

You are doing GREAT and thanks again for always supporting me!
